 Thônes is a typical Savoyard village to live to the rhythm of the seasons.

From Gîte Les Mésanges, located near the center of Thônes, you can walk to many activities.
Adventure course from tree to tree, games for children, mini golf, petanque, via ferrata & climbing, discovery trails, paragliding, horse riding, tennis, go-karting, quad biking, cycling or motorcycling on the different passes (Aravis, Marais, Forclaz, Colombière ...), cinema (300 m).

15km away, the resorts of Grand-Bornand and La Clusaz offer natural activities accessible to all. The Plateau de Beauregard is an ideal and idyllic playground!


20 km away, the city of Annecy opens up to you: stroll through the old town with its flowery canals, cultural life and above all its lake, the purest in Europe.

Ski resorts: La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand and Manigod, all 15 km from Thônes, offer you all the mountain-related activities and the friendly and warm atmosphere of winter evenings.

Alpine skiing & snowboarding: Les Aravis, an area which brings together the resorts of La Clusaz, Grand-Bornand, Manigod, i.e. some 210 km of slopes, 95 ski lifts, snowparks...

Cross-country skiing: 128 km of marked and marked trails to practice in La Clusaz on the plateau of Beauregard (1690 m) in Confins (1450 m) and in Grand-Bornand - Bouchet valley and Chinaillon.

Trek: On foot, on snowshoes, the resorts offer marked trails but snowshoeing can be practiced throughout the massif which is also a great playground for ski touring (Combes des Aravis, La Tournette, Sulens).
